I had a completely different vision for this track when I first started producing and writing the lyrics for it. Being that Sloth means “a reluctance to work or make an effort; laziness”, I wanted to go for a slower, more atmospheric approach. Despite my sentiments, the song organically took on a busier direction. While making this song I really got to experiment and find a flow in the booth while recording the vocals- especially within the layers. I took a much more out of the box approach to the second drop of this song production and vocal wise. As the creation process for the song moved along, I wanted it to feel like being stuck in a loop with everything spiraling around you.
